## Anonymous Surveys

Anonymous survey responses allow organizations to collect survey data from HCPs or other individuals without associating their responses with a specific Vault CRM Account record. Anonymous responses are supported with One Time and Recurring surveys.

### Configuring Anonymous Surveys for

To configure this feature:

1. Ensure [Configuring Surveys](../SurveysInitalConfig.htm) is complete.
2. Navigate to **Admin > Users & Groups > Permission Sets**.
3. Select the appropriate permission set.
4. Navigate to **Objects > survey\_\_v**.
5. Grant **Edit** permission for the **allow\_anonymous\_responses\_\_v** field permission.
6. Navigate to **Objects > survey\_target\_\_v**.
7. Grant **Edit** permission for the **allow\_anonymous\_responses\_\_v** field permission.
8. Navigate to **Admin > Configuration > Objects > survey\_\_v > Layouts**.
9. Select the appropriate One Time and Recurring Survey layout.
10. Add the **Allow Anonymous Responses** field to the layout.

To configure this feature:

1. Ensure [Configuring Surveys](../SurveysInitalConfig.htm) is complete.
2. Navigate to **Admin > Users & Groups > Permission Sets**.

4. Navigate to **Objects > survey\_\_v**.
5. Grant **Read** permission for the **allow\_anonymous\_responses\_\_v** field permission.
6. Navigate to **Objects > survey\_target\_\_v**.
7. Grant **Edit** permission for the **allow\_anonymous\_responses\_\_v** field permission.

#### Configuring Syncing for Offline Devices

Update the Survey Target VMOC records to ensure surveys without accounts are synced if the user is the owner:

1. Navigate to **Business Admin > Objects > vmobile\_object\_configuration\_\_v**.
2. Select **Create**.
3. Populate the new VMOC record fields:
   * **Object Name** - survey\_target\_\_v
   * **Type** - T
   * **Where Clause** - WHERE ownerid\_\_v = @@USER\_ID@@ AND anonymous\_response\_\_v = TRUE
   * **Device** - Select the appropriate device
   * **Active** - Enable the checkbox
   * **Enable Enhanced Sync** - Enable the checkbox

To create an anonymous survey:

1. Navigate to the **Surveys** tab.
2. Select **Create**.
3. Select the **One-Time** or **Recurring** survey type.
4. Select the **Allow Users to Choose Targets?** checkbox.
5. Select the **Allow Anonymous Response?** checkbox.

### Executing Anonymous Surveys as

To create an anonymous survey target:

1. Navigate to the **My Surveys** tab.
2. Select **Create**.
3. Select the **Anonymous Response** option.
4. Select the appropriate survey template.

To create an anonymous survey target:

1. Navigate to the **Survey Targets** tab.
2. Select the **+** icon in the top-right.
3. Select **Anonymous Response**.
4. Select the appropriate survey template.

To create an anonymous survey target:

1. Navigate to the **Survey Targets** tab.
2. Select the **+** icon in the top-right.
3. Select **Anonymous Response**.
4. Select the appropriate survey template.

To create an anonymous survey target:

1. Navigate to the **Survey Targets** tab.
2. Expand the drop-down menu corresponding to **New**.
3. Select **Anonymous Response**.
4. Select the appropriate survey template.

For One-Time and Recurring surveys, users can have multiple saved survey targets for the same survey if the survey targets are for Anonymous Responses. Users cannot Update Responses on a Recurring Survey for an Anonymous Response.
